Daniel Kelo joined LEARN NC in the spring of 2006 as a systems programmer for the LEARN NC website. Dan received a B.A. in Humanities from Pepperdine University in Malibu, California where he worked as a software developer and system administrator for more years than he cares to admit. He has made the adjustment to his new environs in North Carolina with minimal culture shock.

When not hacking at LEARN, he enjoys music, reading, camping/backpacking, photography, restoring old motorcycles, and amateur astronomy. On weekends he can often be found avoiding home improvement projects and passively killing outdoor plants.
