Jack Hunter

Jack Hunter has always had a great interest in science and in the mathematics behind it. Mathematics is an incredible tool, and is often the best way we have to understand the natural world and the universe around us. Jack has taught mathematics and sciences to students in North Carlolina from elementary school through college, teaching small groups, individuals, and large classes.

Other experiences/hobbies include culinary school and a short time cooking in a gourmet restaurant, love of travel and the outdoors, playing bridge and other games, and a new family member: Jack's son Thomas was born in March 2004.

Jack earned a Bachelor of Sciences in Mathematics from North Carolina State University in 1998 and a Master of Arts in Teaching with mathematics concentration from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2002.
