This research project has enabled Kris to work with teachers from Durham, Wake, Orange, and Chapel Hill-Carrboro schools as they implemented a web-based publishing intervention with students in grades K-12. Currently, Kris is working toward his Ph.D. in the Early Childhood, Intervention, and Literacy program area within the School of Education at UNC-Chapel Hill. His research interests focus on the achievement motivation of students identified with learning disabilities. Kris recently was selected as the Pittleman Fellowship recipient and is working as a Research Assistant at LEARN NC.
