Lucas Gillispie

Lucas Gillispie is the Instructional Technology Coordinator for Pender County Schools in Eastern North Carolina. He holds a B.A. in biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, having taught nine years at the high school level, and he will complete his Master of Science in instructional technology in December of 2008. His thesis research centered around the use of video games for teaching mathematics in a remedial middle school setting. In addition to his time spent in virtual worlds such as Second Life and Warhammer Online, Lucas also serves as the webmaster for the Edurealms.com blog, a site that explores issues related to video games and virtual worlds in education.
