Skip Thibault
Instructor
Skip Thibault was recently selected as Teacher of the Year at Northwood High School in Chatham County. Skip has been teaching for twelve years, and currently teaches civics and economics. He is also very involved with AVID, a national program which gives average high school students the support they need to get into college.
Northwood’s principal, Carol Little, says “Skip is always willing to help in any way, and he’s always energetic and happy to be at work. He loves what he does, and he is admired by his peers and students. I enjoy seeing him work and be a part of our students’ futures.” When we asked Skip what he loves most about teaching, he said, “I get to hang out with kids all day and get paid for it.”
