This is a website that shares the history of the Women Airforce Service Pilots of World War II, the first women in history trained to fly American military aircraft. The site has official documents, records, statistics, audio clips of speeches, photographs, a crossword puzzle, a virtual coloring book, a virtual paper doll, the opportunity to e-mail or chat with a retired WASP, facts, a timeline, articles written about the women (beginning with those written in 1943), quotations, a glossary, and digital postcards. A special focus is placed on Jaqueline Cochran, Nancy Harkness Love, and General Hap Arnold. This site is sponsored by Wings Across America.
