The Atoms Family, a Science Learning Network resource based on The Atoms Family exhibit at The Miami Museum of Science, contains educational activities relating to different forms of energy and are presented by famous horror characters such as Dracula, Frankenstein, and the Mummy. Each of these monsters presents a series of learning games to teach a particular science concept:

  • Energy conservation and kinetic and potential energy
  • Properties of light, waves, and particles
  • Forms of electricity and electrical safety
  • Principles of atoms and matter
  • Fuel conservation and energy transfer
