North Carolina's first town, Bath, turned 300 years old in March 2005. In honor of that that anniversary, this website follows the history of the preservation of the historic Bath. The site is divided into five sections - Bath Before 1905, Bath from its Bicentennial to 1955, Bath's 250th Anniversary, Bath 1955 and After, Bath Then and Now. The primary sources presented include diary entries, journal entries, maps, correspondence, and photographs of historic structures.
