Biodiversity: It Takes All Kinds to Make a World is an exploratory website from the American Museum of Natural History that explains the three different kinds of biodiversity: genes, species, and ecosystems. This site explores topics such as extinction and endangered species. Biodiversity also examines techniques for sharing habitats with the natural wildlife and how we depend on the ecosystems of far-away countries because they provided many of the ingredients in items we use every day. Additionally explore the ecosystems of a desert, a city park, and an island. All of these sections include activities to engage the learner as well as links outside of the museum for further information. A few of these links may be inactive. Finally, find out how to help biodiversity.
