Bird Alert! is an interactive guide for students to learn to conduct research and make hypotheses by discovering the causes for the decline in the peregrine falcon population. This website includes a research checklist, a peregrine guide, an environment guide, a scientific method guide, a glossary, and the student's own research notebook. The student can consult with the online advisor for advice along each step of the research process.

There is also a section of classroom ideas for teachers that includes two lessons about chromatography and DDT and ethics.
