This is an informational website provided by the National Parks Service for the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Most of the information contained on this page is for persons planning a visit to the area. However, there are yearly reports on the natural resources and documents pertaining to the preservation of coastal birds including a bird checklist. Take a look at the Cultural Resources section to find more information about the lighthouses that reside on this seashore: Cape Hatteras, Bodie Island, and Ocracoke Island lighthouses. Also find general information about lighthouses and living saving stations.
