The Caswell County Historical Association was created to "promote the study of local history and genealogy, to collect and interpret historical artifacts, and to preserve local historical structures" of Caswell County. The Historical Association also operates the Richmond-Miles History Museum in the Florance-Gatewood House in Yanceyville.

The Association's website offers county history information, biographical information on famous Caswell County residents, photographs, genealogical resources, maps, and much more.
