This site was developed to help Canadians to understand immigrants coming into Canada. Each cultural profile provides an overview of life and customs in the profiled country. While not every country in the world is profiled, there are 102 countries that are. Each country's profile includes historical information, climate and weather, family life, education, food, spirituality, holidays, art and literature, health care, sports and recreation, major industries and business, and a bibliography of resources to see for more information. The site also has a “Did You Know” area with interesting tidbits of information about the country. Each country profile includes a map and a summary fact sheet.
