In honor of Frederick Douglass' mastery of public address and the influence of his speeches on American history, Northwestern University created the Douglass Archives of American Public Address. Here you can find the text of speeches given throughout the history of the United States. Speeches by such famous Americans as Benjamin Franklin, Jane Addams, Hillary Clinton, and many others are available. Speeches can be searched by speaker name, title of speech, or by the date the speech was delivered.
