The Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Water provides this website with information about what is being done and what we all need to do to keep our water safe. Major topics on this resource-rich site include local drinking water quality, source water protection, drinking water protection, public drinking water systems, and underground injection control. There is also a list of contaminants and MCL's.

The Kids Stuff section has lots of information on the water cycle, aquifers, filtration, plus word scrambles and searches. There are games and activities, kids health, and classroom experiments. The kids' activities and experiments are divided into K-6 and 7-12. This site also offers children's resources in Spanish.
