Fonetiks.org is a free online language laboratory of human speech sounds. Languages include, English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Japanese, Indonesian and Thai. Students listen to the target sounds by mousing over them on the site and practice their pronunciation. Some information is given in writing about how to pronounce sounds including tongue placment, how to shape the mouth and more. However, the audio portion is the main tool for learning and practicing new sounds.
This site also contains sentence patterns for English, German, and French.
