Select the appropriate age level guide and you will be on your way toward either an extensive course of study in personal finance or resources to answer specific questions about how you should handle your money. The program offers modules you can read and listen to covering topics like how money works, managing your money, spending money, borrowing money, school and money and work and money. Whether you are trying to figure out how to open a checking account or exploring the effect of education on your earning power, Hands on Banking has learning modules to cover the topic. The Hands on Banking Library contains printable documents you can use to get organized as well as tools like an earnings calculator, a dictionary of financial terms and a tour of online banking. These tools are available by selecting the Options button to the right of the Library screen.

Educator's guide

The site offers a teacher's guide for each level that thoroughly outlines the activities and their learning objectives and standards alignment. The teacher's guide includes lessons that correlate to the online activity and includes printable resources you can use in the classroom right away; there are even assessment materials. Each teacher guide includes a dictionary of financial terms as well as other relevant documents students will access through the Hands on Banking Library.
