Indivisible is a national documentary project exploring community life in America today. Through photographs and recorded voices, the project focuses on the real-life stories of struggle and change in twelve American communities.

The web site presents a range of community images and voices in formats accessible to many different audiences. The creators of Indivisible assembled these components to "represent the breadth and depth of the local American experience through diverse voices and images, in which members of the public will be able to see and hear aspects of their own experiences."

In the Gallery section of the website, visitors can click on the photographs and a new window will come up explaining the photograph and where it was taken. In addition, each photograph is highlighted by an interview which can be heard through RealPlayer. A transcript of the interview is also included.

An educator's guide can be found in the resources section of the site.
