Project Interactivate, a Shodor Foundation program, creates, collects, evaluates, and disseminates online applications and demonstrations for middle school mathematics explorations. "Interactivated" lessons, discussions, and activities enable the teacher to extend hands-on activities and to teach new content areas with professional competence and confidence, incorporating technology in appropriate ways.

The site is divided into two sections, Teacher Resources and Student Resources. The Student Resources section links to activities, while the Teacher Resources section leads to lesson plans. The resources are categorized by content areas (number and operations, geometry and measurement, algebra, data analysis and probability) or by topic (Math Thematics, Mathematics in Action, Middle Grade Mathematics, and Interactivate Mathematics).
