The Multicultural Pavilion was created by Paul C. Gorski in 1995 in an effort to “provide resources for educators, students, and activists to explore and discuss multicultural education; facilitate opportunities for educators to work toward self-awareness and development; and provide forums for educators to interact and collaborate toward a critical, transformative approach to multicultural education.”

The Teacher's Corner has classroom resources such as multicultural activities, a diversity awareness quiz, a multicultural song index, a web assessment tool, and links to other online resources. The Concepts and Philosophies section has a definition of multicultural education, curriculum reform information, handouts, action research, and a reading list. Resource links include African American and Native American literature, historic documents and speeches.
