OceanLink, an interactive marine science website, is a partnership between Bamfield Marine Sciences Centre and several marine organizations, all committed to marine education. On these pages, you will find information about many marine science topics, including marine biology, oceanography, marine mammals, seabirds, marine pollution, marine invertebrates, marine fish and much more!

OceanLink sponsors several stewardship projects for sea otters, abalone, and eelgrass. Find out more about these natural resources, conservation issues, and the projects. These stewardship project pages include films, wildlife images, tons of information, and are a great source of ideas for your own stewardship projects.

Need more about life on the ocean? Check out the Ocean Info page to learn about seal evolution, sensational seaweed, underwater acoustics, food webs, the mysterious creatures of the deep sea, and other fascinating topics.

See the results of other students' actions to conserve marine life, read about terrific careers in marine science, consult the glossary for common marine science terms, and learn about how human activities affect the ocean environment. Stop by the art gallery to gaze upon some pretty spectacular works of ocean art.

For you educators, the Marine Biodiversity Activity Resource Guide For Teachers contains an explanation of biodiversity and lessons about food chains and marbeled murrelets as well as extensions ideas for using biodiversity as an overarching theme in your classroom.
