We all live in a watershed, "the area that drains to a common waterway, such as a stream, lake, estuary, wetland, or ultimately the ocean." The Office of Wetlands, Oceans and Watersheds, OWOW, part of the EPA Office of Water, provides information about watersheds, wetlands, oceans, coastal waters, estuaries, pollution and water quality. Included are ways you can help keep the watersheds clean and healthy.

See the Watershed Patch Program which provides a collection of watershed activities. After completion students can receive a certificate for various levels of achievement.

The site is text heavy and best for secondary students. The Kid's Page is better for younger students.
