This site features a Teacher's Lounge, a Student Center, and a Parent Corner as well as a Biography Center.

  • The Teacher's Lounge contains suggestions to help teachers make women's history available and exercises to do with students such as designing commemorative stamps or constructing a freestanding monument featuring a woman's likeness and incorporating symbols for her life activities.
  • The Student Center provides suggestions to help you be creative while learning about women including using the Internet, contacting local organizations, and planning your own women's program.
  • The Parent's Corner contains ideas for parents who want to make sure women's history is part of their child's education from getting involved with the school board to making material suggestions to classroom teachers.
  • The Biography Center contains an image and a timeline for each of several women honored by Women's History Month, such as Gloria Steinem, Maya Angelou, and Rosalynn Carter.
