The Garrett A. Morgan Technology and Transportation Futures Program website is from the Department of Transportation with the goal to “provide information to students about various modes of the United States transportation system and those people who have made a difference in the field of transportation.”

This site features:

  • Teen Zine for grades 9-12 includes information about careers and education in the transportation field and links to museums and libraries with transportation collections.
  • Home and School includes links for parents and teachers to help their kids learn about different modes of current and historical transportation. Includes many math links as well.
  • College, University, and Lifelong Learning provides links to post-secondary transportation education programs and scholarships
  • Reading Room links to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics which contains information on government, airports, and transit systems
