You can explore the universe through this colorful and informative site. News articles at different levels, games, coloring fun and more make this site funded by NASA a user-friendly learning system on the Earth and Space sciences. The site includes a lot of different types of documents, including images, movies, animation, and data sets that explore the Earth and Space sciences and the historical and cultural ties between science, exploration, and the human experience. The site is written in three reading levels--beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The levels may be chosen by using the upper button bar of each page of the main site. Much of the site is also translated into Spanish. So students who can read Spanish can sit beside students who can read English, each reading the site in his/her preferred language. There are fun activities for kids, including an online journal. There are links to other important science sites, as well.
