Using the primary sources from the American Memory Collection's American Life Histories: Manuscripts from the Federal Writers' Project, 1936-1940, this Learning Page lesson “presents social history content and topics through the voices of ordinary people.” Though the interviews highlighted in the exhibit, students will learn how to conduct their interviews of relatives, neighbors, and others in their communities.
