Whether you’re a veteran of online courses or you’re curious about distance learning, the virtual classroom is now within every educator’s reach. You can teach an online course in your school or across your LEA thanks to LEARN NC and Moodle.

LEARN NC's three-week Moodle Training introduces you to the basics of managing a course online, from uploading assignments to grading tests to having online discussions via Moodle’s interactive message boards.

I felt this course was a great introduction to Moodle. I felt the LEARN NC instructor and staff were very easy to work with and very willing to help.

Course objectives

Moodle Training is different from LEARN NC’s Teaching Online Courses, which focuses on online pedagogy. Moodle Training prepares individuals to customize a course that has already been developed in the Moodle Learning Management System, i.e., platform training. Instructors learn all that they need to know for using the software.

Time commitment

Approximately 6-7 hours per week
