Modern Math Teaching
Begins April 7
In this course, we will examine specific failings of current mathematical instructional models and, over a fast, three-week course, develop useful solutions to those problems using, among other things, multimedia and a classroom culture of curiosity.
Course goals
By the end of this course, students will be able to convert interesting media into challenging learning experiences for their own students.
Prerequisites
You must be a middle school or high school math teacher to enroll in this course.

None
Special technical requirements
You will need to be able to play QuickTime video files. (http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/). A digital camera or camcorder will be useful, but not essential.
