Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors
Begins December 1
Beginning June 23, 2008, LEARN NC will offer online courses to North Carolina school systems exclusively through the Moodle Learning Management System. As part of our efforts to introduce Moodle to teachers across the state, LEARN NC is proud to offer Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors.
Designed for instructors already familiar with Blackboard, Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors is free for all instructors who completed Blackboard Training from LEARN NC, either online or face-to-face.
This is a self-paced online course. A LEARN NC course facilitator will monitor the class and respond to specific questions related to Moodle and to participation. The facilitator will be available to answer questions for one month following the start of the course.
Please note that you will not receive formal feedback on your work in this course. Instead, the course is designed with several self-assessments to inform you of your progress.
LEARN NC will not recommend CEU credit for "Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors." Because this course does not offer the same level of interactivity as most LEARN NC courses, instructors will be unable to accurately gauge time spent in the course and award credit appropriately. As such, this course will not earn you CEU credit or a certificate of completion.
Time commitment
Approximately 10 hours for the entire course
Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors is offered at no charge until December 31, 2008, to instructors who completed Blackboard training through LEARN NC.
