Beginning in Summer 2008, LEARN NC will offer online courses to North Carolina school systems exclusively through the Moodle Learning Management System. As part of our efforts to introduce Moodle to teachers across the state, LEARN NC is proud to offer Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors.

Designed for instructors already familiar with Blackboard, Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors is free for all instructors who completed Blackboard Training from LEARN NC, either online or face-to-face. Develop capacity within your school or school system to offer K-12 and professional development courses online. You can create your own course, or use a course developed by LEARN NC.

Each workshop is completely online, giving participants the opportunity to experience online learning from the student perspective while they learn how to customize a course of their choice. An online instructor will log in daily to answer questions about course activities.

Moodle Transition Training for Blackboard Instructors is offered at no charge until December 31, 2008, to instructors who completed Blackboard training through LEARN NC.
