- Renewable energy sources In this lesson, students will use Internet resources to investigate renewable sources of energy. The students should already have a basic understanding of energy, and know several examples of renewable and nonrenewable sources. This lesson is designed to help students investigate and evaluate renewable energy sources.

The Long Branch Environmental Education Center has developed into an educational center for sharing positive strategies of local self-reliance and sustainability in the areas of environmental design, organic food production, renewable energy, shelter design and construction, appropriate technology, resource conservation, recycling, wildlife protection, ecological restoration, and improved environmental quality.
