- Students can try doing some mining and learn how the rocks and gemstones were
formed.
- The Shelton House Museum of North Carolina Handicrafts (Waynesville)
- Housed in a historic home in Waynesville, NC, the Museum of NC Handicrafts
displays 19th century crafts, musical instruments, and Native American
