When the Karastan manufactured Oriental Rug was introduced in 1928, it was called the "Wonder Rug". Students will see the computerized setting of spooled yarn for magnificent rug patterns, the dye and finishing operations which produce the beautiful colors and the weave room where ideas take shape. Admission is free. Located at 712 Henry Street Eden NC 27288, call 336-623-6000 ext. 3563 to make arrangements for a tour.
