Horne Creek Farm (Pinnacle)
Through educational programs ranging from white oak basket making workshops to an annual corn shucking frolic, Horne Creek Living Historical Farm provides a unique opportunity to learn about our rural past. Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail (Connellys Springs)
This historic trail follows the Revolutionary War route of Patriot militia men from Virginia, today's eastern Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia to the battle of Kings Mountain, South Carolina, site of the Kings Mountain National Military Park.
Pilot Mountain State Park (Pinnacle)
Pilot Mountain was dedicated as a National Natural Landmark in 1976 and is the centerpiece of Pilot Mountain State Park. Ranger lead programs which teach students about the geologic processes that created this quartzite monadnock.
The Mount Airy Museum of Regional History (Mount Airy)
This regional museum strives to collect, preserve, and interpret the natural, historic and artistic heritage of this "back country region at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains."
William Alfred Moore House (Mount Airy)
Built in 1860, the William Moore House is the oldest house in Mount Airy and is available to tour by appointment only.
