“Wild Wings” is a series of traveling education programs. For a fee, educators from this Mecklenberg County nature center bring birds of prey to schools to help students connect with a variety of topics in the sciences and humanities.

“Predators From the Sky” is one of the “Wild Wings” programs and is available to grades K to 12. The raptors help students discover their kinship with native wildlife and humans, learn what makes raptors unique in the avian world, and explore what actions can be taken to make a difference for wildlife and our environment.
