In this lesson, students explore the relationship between a bird's beak and its ability to find food and survive in a given environment. Students learn about bird beaks through observation, both virtual and of local birds, and through activities and discussion. This lesson plan provides links to several online resources, helpful student handouts, and detailed instructions for completing the activity.
