Fuentes, Carlos
Widely considered Mexico’s leading novelist, and formerly the ambassador to France, Carlos Fuentes (b. 1928) divides his time between Mexico City and London. A prolific and acclaimed author, winner of the prestigious Cervantes Prize, his works include The Death of Artemio Cruz, The Old Gringo, A New Time for Mexico, and The Crystal Frontier.
