North Carolina House districts

There are 120 House districts in North Carolina. You can find out which district you’re in and who currently represents you at the North Carolina General Assembly website’s representation page. The site allows you to search by voter registration information, by district, by county, or by zip code.

If you’re registered to vote in North Carolina, you can access a sample ballot at the North Carolina State Board of Elections website. Your sample ballot will be customized for your address and will show you exactly what you’ll see when you vote on November 4.

If you know which House district you’re in, you can find information about your district’s candidates at the following sites:

Project Vote Smart: Candidates for State House of North Carolina
Project Vote Smart is a non-partison, volunteer-run organization dedicated to compiling as much information as they can about political candidates. The website lists all the candidates running for the North Carolina State House of Representatives by district. Each candidate’s name links to a profile, including biographical information, recent key votes, speeches, and ratings based on the candidate’s record.
