1 Getting started
In this activity, you will learn about home demonstration clubs and 4H clubs — and how important they were to rural communities in North Carolina during the late 1800s and early 1900s. You will also learn about the men and women who made these clubs successful. Because you know so much about the people who made the home demonstration and 4H clubs a success, you will help the town of Farmville dedicate a monument to one of those people.
