In the late 1800s and early 1900s people gathered to learn more about better farming techniques, canning and cooking, and ways to take care of the home and yard. These groups were known as Home Demonstration Clubs, and later, 4H Clubs.
The people of Farmville would like to honor one of the men and women who helped these clubs become an important part of rural community life. They have raised money and would like to build a monument in the town square dedicated to that person.
But whom should they choose?
They are asking for your help!
