  1. View a show about life in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
  2. Meet each of the five monument candidates through photos, and learn about why they are important.
  3. Fill in the Who’s Who Chart as you learn about each of the historic community leaders.
  4. Look carefully at all the information you have collected, and make a decision about whom the town should honor.
  5. Write a letter to the people of Farmville letting them know whom you have selected, and your reasons for choosing that person.
  6. Draw a picture of what you think the monument should look like.
