When Josephus was eighteen years old he bought a newspaper company and was the main editor. The newspaper was The Advance.
Later he took a popular newspaper called Farmer and Mechanic and another one called The State Chronicle and made one!
The State Chronicle was printed every day for families who lived around Raleigh.
