4.7 The "languages" template
LearnPress version: 1.5
Last modified: 20 May 2008
Vocabulary tables
This template permits a table of vocabulary to be generated within a page, with full records drawn from the table of terms.
Example
<ol class="vocabulary">
<li><a rel="glossary" id="12345">term</a></li>
…
</ol>
When the page is displayed, the OL will be replaced with a table. Each list item with a referenced term will be replaced with a row that includes all available information on the term, including aliases/alternate character representations (if provided), pronunciation, and audio (if provided).
Formatting is identical to the formatting used in the edition glossary.
Notes
- Terms of one language only will be displayed. If terms of more than one language are listed, the most common language will be the one displayed.
- Be sure to follow conventions for languages! These conventions are coded into the display functions for vocabulary tables, and failure to follow them will likely result in a mess.
- Audio will be included if the primary media object for the term is an audio recording; other media objects will be ignored.
