Math for multiple intelligences
I have been teaching for seven years and am currently teaching eighth grade pre-algebra and algebra at Culbreth Middle School in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. My students come from different socio-economic and cultural backgrounds, and they also range greatly in motivation and attention to academics. But one common thread runs through all of them: if I find a way to capture their attention and show them that I care about them, they will work wonders for me during the course of our year together.
