3 "Magic Eye" discussion questions

Each of you has looked carefully at one of the photographs. You have talked about your photograph with the others in your group. Now, think about all of the different photographs. What can they tell us about what it was like to live in that section of North Carolina at that time? Talk about these questions in your group and give some examples from the photographs.

1. Look at the houses. What was the outside like?
2. Look at the houses. What was the inside like?
3. What can you tell about the people who lived in the homes?
4. What do you think it was like to live at this time in this place? What might be some good things? What might be some bad things?
