The Genomic Revolution, an online version of an exhibit of the American Museum of Natural History, explores the consequences and possibilities of the human genome project.This website will take you on a genetic journey through a timeline of gene discoveries from the detection of the double helix to the finding that ALL humans (no matter what race) are 99.9% the same, DNA speaking.The Genomic Revolution features engaging information about genetic testing, genetic enhancement, eugenics, gene therapy, genetically modified organisms, and evolution. Visitors to the site can also learn about the genetic tool called a microarray and how DNA is found on crime scenes and used as evidence in criminal cases.
