This site allows a visit to the Smithsonian, sometimes referred to as our nations’s attic, with over 360 artifacts from the 16 Smithsonian museums. A virtual walk to the Castle is included. The exhibit is made up of artifacts which rotate in 3-D and morph into other artifacts, high resolution images, video and audio clips, and more. You can see items from every aspect of American vision and American life and even a lot from other cultures, as well. Topics covered include earth formation, space, planet life, air exploration, the past, world creativity, celebrations, community, both present and ancient cultures, inventors and inventions, the Civil War, community leaders, American presidents and first ladies, and more.
