World Religions introduces the religious and spiritual traditions of the world’s five major religions, Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism, Islam, and Judaism. Simple descriptions include information, celebrations, sacred spaces, basic beliefs, as well as suggestions of resources for more information. For each religion profiled, students can get a general idea about the origins, practices, writings, symbolism, and geographic distribution of the religion. Shorter definitions and brief histories of other religions and spiritual traditions are also available.
