This site provides links to lesson plans in the subject areas of Art & Culture, Foreign Languages, History & Social Studies and Literature & Language Arts. Each broad category is broken into numerous subcategories pertaining to the general subject. For example, Art & Culture is further divided into the areas of music, architecture, visual arts and others. The History & Social Studies section not only contains numerous subcategories, but further delineates American history by providing “Lessons by Era” such as 1754-1820 and 1929-1945.

The site is extremely user-friendly, and lesson plans are easily accessible. All lesson plans provide everything a teacher would need from an introduction to the topic, to background information for the teacher, to learning objectives, skills, guiding questions, instructional plan, assessment and others. Each part of the lesson links to photographs, maps or other pertinent information that integrates with the instructional materials.
