Dole 5 A Day is an interactive website from Dole and includes a cookbook, ideas for eating healthy, fun and games for kids ages 5 through 12. This resource includes activities to help kids, parents, and teachers to improve health, look up fruits and vegetables in the food encyclopedia, learn what foods are high in vitamins, and keep up with nutrition news. There are songs to engage kids, suggestions for classroom projects, and tips for parents to make eating healthy fun.The “5 A Day for Better Health Program” is a national program to encourage all Americans to eat 5 to 9 servings of fruits and vegetables every day for good health.
